Workflow and Process Management
In addition to the cycles of predefined document validation, Cincom ECM includes a workflow engine allowing for more complex requirements, based on business needs.
Cincom ECM can manage steps and their associated actions.
Cincom ECM determines the process or processes in which the user is an actor with one or more roles, and enables the user to view or edit the data.
Transitions between different stages are determined by business rules and may be supplemented and controlled by scripts.
The administrator defines roles to carry out an action. For each role, the administrator can define one or more actors.
Users can find the tasks they need to work on in their task list. Colour-coded indicators show immediately any tasks that are approaching or have exceeded the deadline assigned to that task.
Cincom ECM can set a form containing all of the necessary data to achieve the task for each stage of the process. The visibility rules and write access rights depend on the status of the document and the profile of the actor.
Management Time and Deadlines
At each stage, it is possible to specify a date or a length of time. Colour-coded indicators show the progress of the task. If needed, an email is sent to the relevant person.
At each and any stage, Cincom ECM can send an email to the relevant actor. With a simple link, the user can access Cincom ECM directly on the relevant task.
Monitoring and Dashboards
Administrators have a global view on the tasks being carried out, tasks completed, outstanding, etc.
